Privacy Policy

Overview
PingMeter ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what we never do with your data.
What We Collect
Speed test results: When you run a speed test, the results (download, upload, ping, jitter) are processed entirely in your browser. We do not store your test results on any server.
IP Address: Your IP address is temporarily visible to our server during the test to measure your connection. We do not log, store, or associate your IP address with any personal information.
Local Storage: We use your browser's localStorage to save your test history locally on your device. This data never leaves your device and can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser data.
What We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect your name, email, or personal identity
- We do not track your browsing history
- We do not sell or share data with third parties
- We do not require account creation
- We do not use fingerprinting or invasive tracking
Cookies and Advertising
We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings page.
Third-party advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to collect information about your browsing activities. We do not control these third-party cookies.
Analytics
We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand general site traffic (number of visitors, popular pages, geographic distribution). This data is aggregated and anonymized — we cannot and do not identify individual users.
Data Security
Since we don't store personal data, there's minimal risk. All connections to our site are encrypted via HTTPS/SSL. Your speed test data exists only in your browser's memory during the test and is discarded when you close the page.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
