By accessing or using PingMeter ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the Service.

Description of Service

PingMeter provides a free, browser-based internet speed testing tool. The Service measures approximate download speed, upload speed, ping, and jitter of your internet connection at the time of testing.

Accuracy Disclaimer

Speed test results are estimates based on network conditions at the time of testing. Results may vary due to:

• Network congestion and peak usage times
• Wi-Fi signal strength and interference
• Device performance and background processes
• Distance to test servers
• ISP throttling or traffic management

Results should not be used as legal evidence of ISP performance. For official measurements, contact your internet service provider.

Data Usage

The speed test consumes data from your internet plan. A typical test uses approximately 100-300 MB depending on your connection speed. You are responsible for any data charges from your ISP or mobile carrier.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use automated tools to excessively query the Service
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the Service
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or copy the Service's code
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Impersonate another person or entity

Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and branding on PingMeter are owned by us and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

Third-Party Services

The Service may display advertisements from third parties (Google AdSense). We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party advertisers or linked websites.

Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to data usage charges, inaccurate results, or service interruptions.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable laws. Any disputes arising from use of the Service shall be resolved in accordance with local jurisdiction regulations.
